Outreach Programs

From its inception, KCS has remained actively involved with Community-Based Education. KCS provides education and social support to the community. 

AA Meetings

Alcoholics Anonymous (AA) is an international mutual aid fellowship whose stated purpose is to enable its members to “stay sober and help other alcoholics achieve sobriety.” KCS hosts regular AA meetings to help individuals and families. 

Family to Family 

Family-to-Family is an educational program designed to significantly improve coping and problem-solving abilities of the people closest to someone with a mental health condition.  

Age Wise Program

The Age Wise Program at KCS provides counseling for mental health, case management services, outreach and engagement activities in the community to help develop the ability to sustain independent living and well-being for adults who are 59 and older living with a behavioral health condition in Orange County.

Early Intervention Services For Older Adults (EISOA)

Mental Health Training

This training focuses on creating awareness of mental health stigma and understanding mental health conditions through dialogue, film, and interactive activities. KCS helps participants to seek support, develop awareness of mental and behavioral health challenges, and gain knowledge of Orange County’s mental health resources.
