Executive Director

Ellen Ahn, J.D., MSW

As Executive Director of KCS (Korean Community Services) since 1997, Ellen Ahn has led the growth of the agency from 5 employees to over 60 with an annual budget of over $3 million. In addition to overseeing the programs, administration and development of the agency, she is active on many community based boards and coalitions, committed to issues involving substance abuse, mental illness, family violence and ethnic communities. She holds a B.A. in History from Yale University, a J.D. from Georgetown University and an M.S.W. from the University of Southern California.


Chief Operating Director

Kay Ahn, Ed M

Kay Ahn oversees operational and administrative aspects of KCS. KCS’ human resources, informational technology, programs and finance departments are directed under his leadership. Prior to joining KCS, he held posts in the area of public education administration. He holds a B.A. in History from the University of California, Riverside and a Masters in Education Administration from Harvard University.


Chief Financial Officer

Jay Cho serves as the CFO of KCS and has served the organization since 2012. Prior to coming to KCS and the nonprofit setting, Jay had served as an Investment Specialist for 17 years and desired to give back to his community. Jay holds a M.B.A. from The American University in Washington, D.C.


Director of Human Resources and Managing Director of KC Services

Anna Keiderling

Anna Keiderling serves as the Director of Human Resources for KCS Inc. and as the Managing Director of KC Services an out-patient counseling center in Orange County, CA. She coordinates and ensures that provided services are aligned with the agency’s mission and meet client/contractor expectations. She received her BA in Psychology from Wilkes University, and previously served as a Substance Abuse Counselor, Parent Educator and Program Director at KC Services. 


Director of Strategic Development

Charlene Choi

Charlene Choi serves to strategically develop new projects and programs across the organization and to ensure their sustainability by translating, implementing, and developing national, state and local policy changes into new programs on the ground. She received her Juris Doctorate from the University of Washington School of Law and her Bachelor of Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. 


Board of Directors

KCS Inc is an organization that was built to serve the community, and as such answers to a Board of Directors drawn from the community. This community-based and patient-majority Board of Directors keeps KCS Inc accountable to strive towards its strategic vision and the implementation of mission-driven projects and programs.
